The home for the aged is located in Mingun near Mandalay, Myanmar. Around 100 People live there. Women and men are located in different houses.The social system in Myanmar is such, that the children take care of their parents. If someone has no family and is really poor and is lucky he can get a place in the home for the aged. For the residents there is only one nurse to administer medical attention 24/7 and she has held this position for the last eighteen years. Her name is Thwe Thwe Aye.
